Yakan weaving is known for their bold colors and geometric patterns; their fabrics are traditionally used as garments like: Badju Lapi (tight blouse with long sleeves decorated with gold, silver, or bronze buttons), Sawal (tight fitting trousers), and Pinalantupan skirt. Due to the popularity within the Zambonga region, the Yakan tribe are now using the fabrics for bags, coin purses, and other house ornaments.
